KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 20): Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd (KL:TEXCYCL) said it is collaborating with waste management and recycling company Xantara Sdn Bhd to enhance scheduled waste management capabilities and expand business opportunities.
The partnership combines Tex Cycle’s expertise in waste recovery and recycling with Xantara’s facilities and technical capabilities in waste treatment, the scheduled waste recycling group said in a statement on Monday.
It added that the collaboration will address scheduled waste codes, including spent catalyst recycling (SW202) and scientific waste treatment (SW204, SW206), broadening both companies' ability to manage a wider range of waste effectively.
Tex Cycle chief executive officer Gary Dass Anthony Francis said the partnership aims to strengthen sustainable waste management practices and expand operational capabilities.
"By combining our respective strengths, we are not only expanding our capabilities but also reinforcing our shared commitment to environmental stewardship," he said.
"This collaboration underscores our belief in creating mutual value while addressing the critical need for sustainable and efficient waste management solutions," Gary added.
Shares of Tex Cycle closed unchanged at RM1.08 on Monday, with a market capitalisation of RM303.7 million.
