KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 17): Tropicana Uplands, the 313-acre sustainable township developed by Tropicana Corp Bhd (KL:TROP), had the grand launch of Fraser Heights Phase 1 on Jan 11, 2025, achieving a 60% take-up rate.

“In keeping with our mantra and ongoing commitment to Redefine the Art of Living for the Johor community, this exclusive gated and guarded residential phase offers many appealing features from its functional and practical layout, excellent accessibility to major highways and amenities as well as access to the 19-acre Central Park with seven recreational facilities,” said Tropicana Crop managing director of marketing and sales and business development Ixora Ang.

The first phase of Fraser Heights has a gross development value of RM167.6 million. It consists of 223 two-storey terraced houses with a land size of 18ft by 65ft, located within a 36-acre development. The selling price starts at RM730,000.

This new phase builds upon the success of Tropicana Uplands’ earlier development, Aster Heights, which achieved a 100% take-up rate and recorded a Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) score of 87%.

Meanwhile, Tropicana Uplands is designed as a sustainable township offering integrated work-live-learn-shop-play components. It boasts excellent connectivity to five major highways, including the North-South Expressway, Iskandar Coastal Highway, and Second-Link Expressway. The township’s 19-acre Central Park provides residents with recreational facilities such as a football field, multi-purpose courts, jogging and bicycle tracks, and an outdoor gym.

Strategically located in the international zone of Iskandar Malaysia’s Flagship Zone B, Tropicana Uplands is expected to attract both Malaysian and Singaporean buyers. Its proximity to Singapore, coupled with Tropicana’s commitment to sustainable development adhering to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, makes it an attractive choice for families and professionals.

The grand launch event featured a lion dance, live performances, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Tropicana executives.
