The SC also wants a civil penalty of RM1 million to be imposed on Kuan Chon, and for him to be barred from managing any publicly-listed company for five years, and from trading on the stock exchange for the same period.
Following the appointment, shares of YNH Property rose in the evening session to settle 6.42% or 3.5 sen higher at 58 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM304.08 million. The stock has fallen 86.3% so far this year.
