KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 17): Avaland Bhd (KL:AVALAND) has collaborated with MBSB Bank to offer an incentive programme to first-time homebuyers of its green-certified projects, according to a press statement on Dec 12.
Through the partnership, Avaland is offering MBSB Bank customers a RM500 credit into their MBSB PrimeGold-i Account, when they purchase homes from the AVA Ria or AVA Prime series.
In the statement, Avaland chief operating officer Aw Sei Cheh said, “Through this partnership with MBSB Bank, we are empowering homebuyers to make informed decisions by choosing properties that not only offer shelter, but also contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.”
Representing MBSB Bank, its group chief consumer banking officer Usman Ghouse said, “This partnership is a key milestone for our bank, as it promotes both first-home ownership and greener living to the communities we serve”.
The statement also highlighted that Avaland recently reported its upward trajectory in the nine months ended Sept 30, 2024 (9M2024), with net profit more than doubling to RM68.2 million, compared with RM28.5 million in the previous corresponding period (9M2023), while revenue rose 92% to RM664.4 million in 9M2024, from RM346.6 million in 9M2023.
In the same period, Avaland’s property sales rose by 60% to RM683.7 million, fuelled by high take-up rates for ongoing projects. As of Sept 30, 2024, the company’s unbilled sales stood at RM964 million.
