1. The High Court has granted former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and former Treasury secretary general Tan Sri Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah a discharge not amounting to an acquittal in their criminal trial regarding International Petroleum Investment Co .

2. AMMB Holdings Bhd sharply raised its dividend payout after reporting a 7% rise in second-quarter net profit from a year earlier on interest income growth. 

3. FGV Holdings Bhd nearly tripled its net profit in the third quarter thanks to higher output and prices that may stay high in the remaining months of 2024.

4. Boustead Heavy Industries Corp is selling its 51% stake in Contraves Advanced Devices Sdn Bhd to its joint venture partner in the firm, German arms maker Rheinmetall AG for RM54 million cash.
