KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 25): Haily Group Bhd (KL:HAILY) said it has secured a RM115.1 million contract, its largest this year, for the construction of residential units in Johor Bahru.

Awarded by Permas Jaya Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Bandar Raya Developments Bhd, the project in Bandar Baru Permas Jaya spans two phases, comprising 184 units of double-storey cluster houses, 12 units of double-storey semi-detached houses, and two double-storey bungalow houses.

"This contract win underscores Haily's commitment to delivering high-quality residential developments that meet the needs of homeowners in Johor," said Haily founder and executive director See Tin Hai in a statement on Monday. "We are proud to contribute to the development of Bandar Baru Permas Jaya."

The group said that with this new contract, Haily’s portfolio of ongoing projects stands at 25, collectively valued at RM1.11 billion.

It also brings the group's total contract wins for 2024 to RM732.41 million, surpassing the RM272.14 million secured in 2023.

Haily added that the new project is expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial years ending in 2025 and 2026.

Haily’s shares closed unchanged at 24 sen, valuing the group at RM94.15 million.
