KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 22): Environmental engineering consultancy firm Progressive Impact Corp Bhd (KL:PICORP) has bagged a RM14.74 million contract from water utility company Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) to provide water quality control service in Selangor.
The contract involves Alam Sekitar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (ASMA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Picorp, accepting a framework agreement from Air Selangor.
Under the agreement, ASMA will provide preventive and corrective maintenance services for 190 Hybrid Distribution Water Quality Real-Time Analyzer (Hydra) stations across the state of Selangor.
ASMA is responsible for a comprehensive range of services to ensure the proper functioning of the Hydra stations, including seaworthy packing, insurance, labour charges for maintenance, servicing and calibration, joint inspections, and site visits.
The length of the contract is three years and can be extended for an additional six months.
Air Selangor is Malaysia’s largest water service provider. The company is licensed to supply water to Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
Progressive Impact expects this agreement to have a positive effect on its net assets per share and earnings per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024.
Progressive Impact’s share price closed unchanged at six sen, bringing the group a market capitalisation of RM39 million.
