KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 22): Berjaya Hartanah Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Berjaya Land Bhd (KL:BJLAND), officially launched on Friday, its latest condominium development named Oaka Residences at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. The project has a gross development value (GDV) of RM373 million.

The 2.2-acre freehold, upmarket development houses a total of 350 units spread across two 30-storey residential towers, with unit built-ups ranging from 882 sq ft to 1,509 sq ft. Each unit comes with a lanai or balcony, a store room or an utility room, as well as at least two side-by-side carpark bays. The selling price starts from RM880 per sq ft.

“Oaka Residences represent a significant milestone as our 15th iconic development in Bukit Jalil. As pioneers in transforming this vibrant locale, we remain committed to enhancing its growth and prestige. Building on the remarkable success of The Tropika (a mixed-use development by Berjaya Land in Bukit Jalil), we are confident that Oaka Residences embodies Berjaya Land’s unwavering pursuit of excellence, innovation and superior quality,” said Berjaya Land executive director Tan Tee Ming in his welcome notes in Friday’s official launch ceremony.

He added that for every new project that the company launched, an average 10% of the units are sold to its repeat buyers. “We have been here (in Bukit Jalil) for many years, and many buyers of our previous projects made good returns from our project. We are confident that Oaka Residences will be well received and be able to register a good take-up rate within the six months after the launch today.”

Targeting young families and professionals, the project offers family-friendly facilities, such as an infinity pool, a rooftop sky garden with a sky pavilion, a children’s playground, dedicated delivery pick-up and drop-off area, and a half-court basketball court. For amenities, there are hospitals and medical centres, schools, colleges and universities, as well as mature commercial hubs.

The development is easily accessible via Shah Alam Expressway, Maju Expressway, and Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway. There are three LRT stations located within a three-kilometre radius.
