KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 15): Bursa Securities has approved the transfer of Infoline Tec Group Bhd's (KL:INFOTEC) entire issued share capital from the ACE Market to the Main Market.
The approval sees Infoline Tec reclassified under the technology sector of the Main Market, it said in a bourse filing on Friday. The transfer will take effect two market days after the official announcement is made to Bursa.
This move marks a significant milestone in Infoline Tec's growth trajectory, reflecting its increased maturity and readiness for broader market participation, it added.
Infoline Tec, an IT infrastructure and cybersecurity service provider, was listed on the ACE Market on July 13, 2022.
Infoline Tec sees potential in rising technology adoption, particularly among large and medium enterprises undergoing digital transformation, which will drive substantial investments in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, said its chief executive officer Choo Wei Chuen in a statement previously.
He added that as reliance on IT infrastructure grows, so too will the demand for the group's expertise and services.
Infoline Tec shares closed at 94.5 sen on Friday, up half a sen or 0.53%, for a market capitalisation of RM345 million.
