<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The retailer said 2,389 jobs would be cut in various departments, adding that 319 jobs would be created by the changes. The company said it employs 54,000 in France.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Auchan said it would lower prices and simplify its organisation in a bid to reverse a decline in traffic in its stores since 2012.</p></div>
