PETALING JAYA (Oct 21): Robo-advisory platform MYTHEO has announced a partnership with VKA Wealth Planners, a licensed financial planning firm, to launch a new product for investors.

The MYTHEO Target Return Portfolio, curated exclusively for VKA clients, is designed to balance potential returns with effective risk management over the long term. It aims to generate returns by blending growth, income and inflation hedging assets, said Edward Ooi, VKA’s chief investment advisory officer.

“The portfolio will be globally diversified across stocks, bonds, commodities and real estate, leveraging MYTHEO’s access to a broad range of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in both developed and emerging markets.

“I have seen investors chasing after high returns without fully understanding the risk involved. MYTHEO’s artificial intelligence (AI)-driven approach eliminates emotional decision-making, and offers a disciplined, risk-adjusted strategy that aligns with each of our client’s financial objectives,” he added.

Ronnie Tan, the chief executive officer and managing director of GAX MD, the entity behind MYTHEO, said the new product is powered by proprietary algorithms and AI, and offers a data-driven investment strategy that helps clients navigate volatile markets and avoid common investment pitfalls.

“We are excited to partner with VKA to deliver tailored investment portfolios that meet the unique needs of their clients. This curated portfolio marks our first collaboration [between both parties], and is a reflection of our shared commitment to providing innovative, high-quality investment options for investors,” he said.

MYTHEO is a robo-advisory platform licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and has been providing investment solutions to investors since 2019.

Meanwhile, VKA is a financial planning firm licensed by the SC, and started offering its services in 2003 to investors. It is headquartered at IOI Boulevard in Puchong Jaya.
