KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 11): EUPE Corp Bhd (KL:EUPE) topped out its Helix2 affordable high-rise development located in PJS 5, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on Friday. The project is 95% sold and is slated for completion in October 2025.
The project has a gross development value of RM228 million, offering 500 serviced apartments within a 33-storey tower, with built-ups ranging from 572 to 1,065 sq ft. The selling price is about RM550 psf. The main contractor of the project is TCS Construction Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of TCS Group Holdings Bhd (KL:TSC).
EUPE Corp group managing director Datuk Beh Huck Lee said at the ceremony, “Helix2 is our fourth high-rise project in the nation’s capital, and it is our first in Kuala Lumpur that is targeting solely the affordable housing market.
“We have been established for over 40 years, and have constructed 25,000 homes in northern [Peninsular] Malaysia. Many of these are affordable homes. We are bringing that many years of experience and expertise into the KL market. In the process, we are committed to reimagining affordable housing to meet new customer expectations and changing market demands,” he noted.
Meanwhile, EUPE Corp director of sales, marketing and design Datin Michelle Gan said Helix2 offers resort-like affordable homes, which buyers will experience without paying the high cost of one.
Some of Helix2’s design elements include premium-style facilities, energy-efficient lifts and lights, virus prevention infrastructure and modular spaces for gatherings.
