KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 7): Sime Darby Property Bhd’s (KL:SIMEPROP) The Signature Collection Twin Factories at Elmina Business Park Stage 2 located at City of Elmina, Selangor, has achieved 100% take-up rate since its official launch on Sept 1. The project has a gross development value of RM296 million.

Designed for the light and medium enterprises, the 26.2-acre development comprises 60 semi-detached factories with two types of layouts (Type A and Type B).  

Type A has a land area of 65ft by 142ft and a built-up area of 4,410 sq ft, while Type B has a land area of 80ft by 200ft, and a built-up size of 9,573 sq ft. The selling price starts from RM3.68 million.

According to the press statement on Monday, the units feature a tri-functional set-up by incorporating a warehouse, office and reception space. They are designed to allow horizontal expansion by combining two adjoining units in creating a larger space if needed. 

“The success of The Signature Collection: Twin Factories at Elmina Business Park Stage 2 reflects the growing demand for well-planned, sustainable industrial spaces. Our commitment to creating environments that foster business growth, while addressing the evolving needs of modern industries, has been key to this achievement,” said Sime Darby Property chief operating officer of township development Apollo Leong in the statement. 

Elmina Business Park Stage 2 is part of the bigger 1,500 Elmina Business Park. The business park offers premium facilities, good connectivity and infrastructure with 110 acres of parkland, a dedicated business support centre, staff accommodation, 5G infrastructure, and high-speed broadband. 

“The park’s emphasis on sustainable energy solutions, including renewable energy initiatives and eco-friendly infrastructure, ensures that future tenants remain well-prepared and aligned with global sustainability standards,” Leong added.  

It has accessibility to Guthrie Corridor Expressway, North-South Expressway and Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway, with proximity to Port Klang and Subang Airport.
