KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 26): Censof Holdings Bhd (KL:CENSOF) has secured a RM5.44 million contract from Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (Perkeso) to provide maintenance services for an accounting system.

The contract involves maintaining the Standard Accounting System for Government Agencies (SAGA) — Century Financials version 8.4 — and migrating the SAGA server to Perkeso's infrastructure.

The three-year contract will run from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2028, with no option for extension or renewal, according to the financial management software solutions provider's filing with Bursa Malaysia.

This latest win marks Censof’s second contract secured this year. Earlier in August, Censof secured a RM14.6 million contract from the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) for an information system.

For the first quarter ended June 30, 2024 (1QFY2025), Censof recorded a net profit of RM1.78 million, compared to a net loss of RM1.12 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue increased 24.8% year-on-year to RM25.5 million from RM20.4 million, mainly due to strong growth across all segments.

Shares of Censof closed unchanged at 28.5 sen on Thursday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM157.4 million.
