KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 20): OSK Property Holdings Bhd, the property arm of OSK Holdings Bhd (KL:OSK), officially launched BPJ Business Park in Sungai Petani, Kedah last Saturday (Aug 17). The first phase has been fully sold since it was opened for sale in July.

According to a press statement on Monday, the development is spread across a 27.58-acre freehold tract and has a gross development value of RM98 million. It comprises 94 units of two- to three-storey terraced shop offices and will be developed in two phases. Phase 1 consists of 41 units with land sizes from 20ft to 75ft till 20ft to 100ft and selling price from RM806,455 onwards.

Following the official launch, Phase 2 is now open for sale, offering 53 units with land sizes ranging from 20ft to 75ft till 20ft to 100ft with selling prices from RM806,455. In this phase, the business park will also feature two-storey semi-detached shop offices and drive-through units with further details forthcoming.

In the statement, OSK Property chief executive officer Ong Ghee Bin said, “What truly excites me is the potential for this space to become a central hub for Sungai Petani — a place where ideas are born, friendships are forged, and memories are made. We envision BPJ Business Park as a lively and inclusive environment that serves not just the business community, but also families, young professionals and everyone who calls this town home.”

Amenities within close proximity to the business park include supermarkets such as Lotus’s Bandar Puteri Jaya and Econsave Bandar Puteri Jaya.

In terms of connectivity, the business park is fronting Jalan Kuala Ketil and connects to the Sungai Petani Eastern Bypass Expressway. It is surrounded by established residential areas such as Bandar Puteri Jaya, Bandar Utama and Bandar Seri Astana, which is home to nearly 200,000 residents.
