MN Holdings bags RM86 mil substation job from TNB

MN Holdings Bhd said it has secured a RM86 million contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd to develop a gas-insulated 132/11 kilovolt substation at Kg Awah in Pahang.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 1): MN Holdings Bhd (KL:MNHLDG) said it has secured a RM86 million contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (KL:TENAGA) to develop a gas-insulated substation in Pahang.

The development of the 132/11 kilovolt Kg Awah substation would include remote end substation works, said the underground utilities and substation engineering specialist in a bourse filing on Thursday.

With this job win, MN Holdings’ outstanding order book has increased to a total value of RM654.5 million, the group said.

It expects the contract, which is valid until January 2027, to contribute positively to its future earnings.

Shares of MN Holdings settled unchanged at 94 sen on Thursday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM444.72 million.
