1. Property developer Axteria Group Bhd, formerly Acoustech Bhd, has scrapped plans to jointly undertake a mixed development project in Johor Bahru with a gross development value of RM413.2 million.

2. British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Bhd reported that its second quarter net profit dropped 23.66% amid the group's increased investment into growing its vaping brand, Vuse, in Malaysia.

3. Petroliam Nasional Bhd, which is seeking to establish a carbon capture and storage hub in Pahang, has inked a land rental agreement with Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn Bhd.

4. AirAsia X Bhd carried 880,265 passengers in the second quarter of 2024, a 42% year-on-year surge.
