<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The sub-contract for the construction of the project's mechanical and electrical system was awarded to Sunway Engie DC Sdn Bhd, a joint venture company between Sunway Engineering Sdn Bhd (70% stake) and Engie Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd (30% stake).</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The sub-contract work is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027, said SunCon in a bourse filing.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>On March 21, SunCon said it had entered into a project service request with the US-based company for the construction project. However, it did not provide further details on the company.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares in SunCon closed seven sen or 1.78% lower to RM5.02 on Friday, valuing the group at RM6.47 billion.</p></div>
