KUALA LUMPUR (July 19): Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) confirmed that its KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (KITS) as well as all of its customer service channels are affected by the global IT outage.
KTMB in a Facebook post on Friday stated that restoration works to rectify the technical disruptions are actively underway.
“KTMB apologises for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your attention,” it said, adding that users of its mobile application are recommended to restart their phones to regain access to the KITS system.
News reports have been coming from all over the globe pertaining to travel disruptions which cited issues linked to global cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike.
