<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): Knusford Bhd (KL:<a href="/askedge/klse/5035" class="ce-stock" target="_blank">KNUSFOR</a>) is set to record a net gain on disposal of approximately RM11.66 million from the proposed sale of land in Shah Alam to Emerald Plan Sdn Bhd for RM28 million cash.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>In a circular to shareholders on Friday, Knusford said the potential disposal is an opportunity to unlock the value of its investment in the property at a fair valuation, as well as monetise the non-core asset.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>With the funds raised from the proposed disposal, the&nbsp;company said it may pare down its bank borrowings, and replenish its working capital for operations.</div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>Knusford added that 43.6% of the proceeds or RM12.21 million will go towards repayment of bank borrowings, followed by 50.51% or RM14.14 million for working capital, and the remaining RM1.65 million for expenses related to the disposal.</div>
