KUALA LUMPUR (May 16): Pansar Bhd (KL:PANSAR) has secured a RM30.1 million contract to undertake facilities management and maintenance for the Borneo Cultures Museum and annex building at the Sarawak Museum Complex in Kuching.
The Sarawak-based engineered solutions provider said the job, awarded by the state Public Works Department, involves civil, structural and architectural services, as well as mechanical, electrical, landscape, and housekeeping services.
"Facility management and maintenance is a new strategic focus area for Pansar,” the group said in an exchange filing on Thursday.
Pansar said the project will run for 39 months from May 27, and is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings.
Including the latest win, Pansar has announced three contractor project awards since the start of 2024, with a total value of RM429.20 million, all of which are located in Sarawak.
Last month, Pansar secured a RM269.1 million job to upgrade the capacity of a water treatment plant in Sibu from the Sibu Water Board via an open tender.
In February, the group secured a RM129.98 million contract to construct an infectious disease centre at Muara Tuang Land in Sungai Jernang, Samarahan from Borneo Development Corp (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd.
Shares in Pansar settled unchanged at 59 sen on Thursday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM295.39 million.
