2. Axiata Group Bhd and Indonesian group PT Sinar Mas have sought permission from the Indonesian government to merge their telco units, the communications minister told Reuters. 

3. MNRB Holdings Bhd was Bursa Malaysia’s biggest gainer on Wednesday, after the insurer and reinsurer announced record quarterly and annual net profit. 

4. Sentral Real Estate Investment Trust posted a 30% increase in its net property income in the first quarter on higher contribution from four of its key properties.

5. Go Hub Capital Bhd, a provider of information technology services catering to the transportation sector, has received approval for its listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.
