KUALA LUMPUR (May 6): Gamuda Land, the property arm of Gamuda Bhd, welcomed new tenants to its Quayside Mall and an international school to its Quayside Tower, through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony on April 25, according to a press statement on Monday.
Both the mall and the tower are part of the larger twentyfive7 township in Kota Kemuning, Selangor.
In the statement, twentyfive7 general manager Suzan Ong said, “We are immensely proud of the strides twentyfive7 has taken since its inception in 2017. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Quayside Mall has flourished, boasting near-full tenancy and serving approximately 600,000 visitors each month. Key tenants such as Jaya Grocer, Harvey Norman, MBO Cinemas, Rong Cuisine, and Mr DIY have become integral parts of the mall's vibrant ecosystem.”
The new tenants of the mall include Q-dees, Kiddypedia, Inside Scoop, Ollie & Hana, Jungle Gym, Mini Studio, Cross Kitchen, and Red Spice. Quayside Mall will also house Toyota’s first 3S Service Centre in a shopping mall.
Adjacent to Quayside Mall is Quayside Tower, which is nearly fully occupied, the statement highlighted. The tower’s latest addition will be Good School, which is one of the largest Cambridge IGCSE centres.
Representing Good School, its director Yeoh Shu Wen said, “As a prominent Cambridge IGCSE centre, Good School will be establishing their newest international school campus — The Good International School in September 2024, offering a comprehensive schooling programme, setting high standards for education in the community. Recognising the vitality and abundance of amenities within twentyfive7, particularly in the vicinity of Quayside Mall, we were certain that Quayside Tower was the ideal location for our new International School Campus.
“Leveraging the existing amenities at Quayside Mall, including the football field, Quay Hall and a newly built rooftop basketball court on campus, our forthcoming campus will span over 50,000 sq ft. It will enable us to offer affordable international education to the community and, at the same time, provide top-notch facilities such as a performance hall and robotics lab,” Yeoh added.
Meanwhile, to cultivate a strong sense of community within twentyfive7, the statement said Gamuda Land created Quayside, a seven-acre pet-friendly Central Park nestled in the heart of the township. Now expanding to 20 acres with the Community Park, Linear Park and the recently opened Wellness Park.
To date, over 3,645 units of homes have been delivered to customers. The developer anticipates the twentyfive7 to have 15,000 residents by the end of the year.
twentyfive7 is accessible via the South Klang Valley Expressway, North-South Expressway Central Link, Shah Alam Expressway, Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway and the upcoming West Coast Expressway.
