EVENING 5: Microsoft to invest US$2.2 bil in M’sia over the next four years

1. US software giant Microsoft Corp said on Thursday it would invest US$2.2 billion (RM10.5 billion) over the next four years in cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure in Malaysia.

2.  Lotte Chemical Titan Holdings Bhd’s logged a net loss of RM178.03 million in the first quarter, making the group's eighth straight quarter in the red. 

3. Malaysia’s biggest port operator Westports Holdings Bhd said on Thursday its net profit rose 11.4% year-on-year in the first quarter.

4. Protasco Bhd has received an offer to buy its unit Ikram Education Sdn Bhd which owns the Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur.

5. Feytech Holdings Bhd's initial public offer on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia is offering 252.94 million shares, including an offer for sale of 109.62 million, at 80 sen a piece.
