KUALA LUMPUR (May 2): Mechanical and electrical engineering services provider Pasukhas Group Bhd has secured a RM56.98 million contract to build a data centre in Selangor.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday, Pasukhas said its wholly-owned subsidiary Pasukhas Sdn Bhd (PSB) had on Tuesday received a signed copy of the letter of acceptance (LOA) from an undisclosed company for the construction and completion of a data centre located in Selangor.
Pasukhas described the company as "one of the leading multinational technology corporations headquartered in the US".
The project is scheduled to commence after the acceptance of the LOA and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2025.
"The LOA marks a significant milestone towards the company’s strategic business expansion, and is expected to strengthen the company’s revenue and financial conditions upon completion of the project," Pasukhas said.
The project is expected to contribute positively to the company’s future earnings.
At Thursday's market close, Pasukhas was unchanged at 14 sen, with 455,100 shares traded. Its market capitalisation stood at RM26.67 million.
