KUALA LUMPUR (March 27): KJTS Group Bhd has secured a housekeeping service and floor polishing jobs at six different manufacturing plants located in Penang.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday, KJTS said its subsidiary ETC Cleaning Services Sdn Bhd had accepted letters of awards from a US-based product solutions firm.
The building support services provider said that the value of the contracts is expected to be finalised upon execution of the agreements.
All the housekeeping services and floor polishing jobs will begin next Monday (April 1) and the scope of works will include a three-year housekeeping service until March 31, 2027.
“The award letters will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of KJTS. The award letters, however, are expected to contribute positively toward the earnings and net assets of KJTS until the expiration of the award letters,” it added.
KJTS, which made its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia on Jan 26, made an impressive start, closing at 50 sen on its maiden trading day, up 23 sen or 85.19% over its initial public offering (IPO) price of 27 sen.
At 2.23pm on Wednesday, KJTS was unchanged at 67 sen, which translates into a market capitalisation of RM457.57 million.
