KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 6): Aesthetic medical services provider DC Healthcare Holdings Bhd has appointed former deputy health director-general Datuk Dr Rohaizat Yon as the group’s medical adviser.
In a statement, DC Healthcare said Rohaizat’s role with the group will encompass advising on healthcare and clinical policies, guiding the organisation's leadership, and providing insights on best practices within the healthcare industry.
DC Healthcare managing director Chong Tze Sheng said the inclusion of Rohaizat’s experience and leadership in public health will be instrumental in steering the group’s clinical policies and practices towards even higher standards of excellence.
He noted that Rohaizat had played a critical role during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rohaizat said his goal at DC Healthcare is to leverage his public health expertise to enhance healthcare protocols and drive innovation within the group.
DC Healthcare’s share price closed down 1.5 sen or 4.41% at 32.5 sen on Tuesday, bringing the group a market capitalisation of RM324 million.
The counter was listed on the ACE Market on July 17 last year with an initial public offering price of 25 sen.
