KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 16): Jentayu Sustainables Bhd has appointed its executive director Baevinraj Thiagarajah as the group's new chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from Monday.

Meanwhile, Baevinraj was appointed as the company’s independent non-executive director in July 2020. He was subsequently re-designated as the executive director in September 2023.

Jentayu’s share price closed up one sen or 0.77% to RM1.31, bringing the company a market capitalisation of RM550 million.
