<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 6): Heitech Padu Bhd has secured a contract worth RM37.01 million to provide end-to-end services for the hospital information system (HIS) at Sultan Ismail Hospital in Johor Bahru.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday, the global ICT systems and technology service provider said the 36-month contract will commence on Dec 18.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The services provided by the group will encompass the supply, installation, development, configuration, testing and commissioning of HIS hardware, software and systems.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Heitech said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the year ending Dec 31, 2023 and onwards until the completion of the contract.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"The board of directors is of the opinion that the execution of the contract is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interest of the company," it said.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares in Heitech Padu ended one sen or 1.24% higher at 82 sen on Wednesday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM82.05 million.</p></div>
