<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>According to AAX's Bursa Malaysia filing on Tuesday, Asia Aviation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AirAsia Bhd, which is in turn a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital A Bhd.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The additional aircraft is in the same cabin configuration as AAX’s existing fleet, allowing a seamless transition into the fleet.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The transactions will not have any material financial impact on the company and/or its subsidiaries (Group) in the financial year ending December 31, 2023 (FY2023) nor will it have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of AAX,” it said.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares in Capital A ended unchanged at 84 sen, valuing the company at RM3.50 billion. Since the beginning of the year, the stock has surged 28.46%.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Meanwhile, shares in AAX settled four sen or 2.04% lower to RM1.92, giving it a market capitalisation of RM858.38 million. Year to date, the stock has risen 220%.</p></div>
