KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 1): Intraday short selling (IDSS) of Salutica Bhd shares was suspended on Wednesday, a day after an unusual market activity (UMA) query was issued to the company.

Short selling under IDSS will only be activated the following trading day — on Thursday, Nov 2 — at 08.30am.

On Wednesday, Salutica, in a response to Bursa Securities, said there were no undisclosed corporate developments, rumours, or reports concerning the business and affairs of the group that may account for the UMA, though the ongoing legal suit involving its subsidiary and Apple Malaysia was a potential contributing factor.

Salutica closed down 29.5 sen or 28.92% at 72.5 sen on Wednesday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM307.39 million.
