KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 25): For the third day in a row, Citaglobal Bhd has reported the purchase of additional shares in the infrastructure construction group by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
In a bourse filing on Wednesday, Citaglobal said the King acquired 1.21 million shares on Tuesday, raising his shareholding in the group to 37.69 million shares or a 9.03% stake.
A day earlier, Citaglobal said the King acquired 620,500 shares in the group on Monday to increase his stake to 8.74%.
On Monday, the group reported that he had purchased 2.59 million Citaglobal shares last Friday, raising his stake in the group to 8.59%.
The King emerged as a substantial shareholder of Citaglobal, formerly known as WZ Satu Bhd, in September 2019. More recently, he acquired 1.378 million shares on June 6, after buying 2.39 million shares on June 2, and 1.21 million shares on May 26.
Shares in Citaglobal closed two sen or 1.28% higher at RM1.58, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM659.80 million.
