KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 25): Formerly Majestic Builders of the Majestic Group, Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd’s Majestic Residence in Jalan Dewan Sultan Sulaiman, Kuala Lumpur has been 85% taken up since its launch on Oct 21 and 22, according to a press statement on Wednesday.
With a gross development value of RM384 million, Majestic Residence sits on a 0.66-acre freehold parcel. The 33-storey residential tower offers 478 units with built-ups ranging from 459 square feet (sq ft) to 654 sq ft for one-bedroom units. Prices start at RM596,000 and the estimated maintenance fee is 55 sen per square feet (psf) inclusive of sinking fund. Majestic Residence is slated for completion in March 2026.
In the statement, Majestic Gen chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Hoo Kim See said the development’s design concept is inspired by Ecuador’s cultural heritage. “Inspired by my travels and globetrotting adventures, Majestic Residence’s unique design assimilates influences from Ecuadorian Otavalo, creating a sophisticated yet rustic living environment.
“The interior design philosophy, affectionately termed “Loftavalo”, harmoniously blends the Otavalo pattern with materials like wood, metal, glass, leather and concrete,” Hoo said, adding that the development will also embrace greenery that coexists with the building’s design.
Majestic Gen executive director Ta Wee Dher said, “Our development embodies a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation; sophistication and simplicity. It serves as a juxtaposition of vintage charm and contemporary living. It is not a sterile, lifeless structure; quite the opposite. We have conscientiously crafted an inviting exterior that conceals an interior full of warmth and eclecticism”.
According to the statement, Majestic Residence is built to cater to young professionals and offers co-working spaces within the development, as well as expansive windows in units to allow natural light in. These features will respond to the current work-from-home needs, it added.
Other facilities at Majestic Residence include a sky pool, sky lounge, sauna, games room, multipurpose hall, gymnasium, dedicated spaces for solat (Muslim prayer), and a barbeque area.
Majestic Residence is within close proximity to landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, and the Tun Razak Exchange. Hospitals and medical facilities within reach include Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Institute Jantung Negara, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur, and KPJ Tawakkal.
The statement shared that the Medan Tuanku Monorail station is within walking distance from the development.
The development also offers access to road networks including Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Ampang, and the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway.
Hoo highlighted in the statement that he was positive about the market’s outlook for the project. “At Majestic Residence, we wholeheartedly trust in the market’s innate capacity to influence price appreciation, rental demand and investment prospects. Our mission is to ensure that Majestic Residence not only meets but surpasses expectations, yielding great returns for both our valued investors and homeowners,” he said.
