The newly launched OPPO Find N3 Flip’s cover screen has the solution. Now, navigating a cover screen mirrors the action of manoeuvring through a familiar, vertical smartphone display for a seamless, complementary experience. Refined and upgraded from the previous models, the cover screen now features time-saving new wallpapers that showcase real-time information at a glance while displaying handy quick shortcuts. 

Find N3 Flip’s vertical cover screen also displays more notifications and quick settings than other flip phones with wider displays, so users can see more with just a glance. It is also the same orientation as Find N3 Flip’s camera sensor, so it captures photos with virtually no crop, for the highest quality selfies possible.

Find N3 Flip’s cover screen supports third-party apps such as Google-powered tools like Gmail, Wallet, and Maps, as well as customers’ favourites like Reddit, Telegram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), WeChat, WhatsApp, which can all be used whether Find N3 Flip is open or closed. 

Besides delivering important messages on the cover screen, OPPO’s cheeky and playful interactive pets that live inside the cover screen have also evolved from five two-dimensional characters on the previous model, to seven three-dimensional animated characters for Find N3 Fli, which are a panda, koala, tiger, dog, bird, rabbit, and cat.

Pete Lau, its senior vice-president and chief product officer said performance and features that matter most to OPPO’s customers and Find N3 and Find N3 Flip are ready to empower its users’ creativity, productivity, and self-expression, unlocking a new level of foldable excellence.

“A big-screened foldable should always be a pleasure to use, so Find N3 has two clear, bright, comfortable, rich-looking displays, where neither screen is compromised. We also believe that premium smartphones should have incredible cameras, even flip phones. So, both Find N3 and Find N3 Flip can capture life’s precious moments without missing the fine details,” Lau said in his speech at Changi Exhibition Centre on Thursday.

Find N3 Flip features a new class of flip phones that has a triple camera and the first of its kind to have a telephoto camera. This imaging system features a 50MP wide, 48MP ultra-wide, and 32MP 2x (two-times) zoom equivalent telephoto camera.

Its wide camera’s large sensor, high-resolution, and fast f/1.8 aperture lens matched optical image stabilisation (OIS) captures detail-rich shots with low noise, even in dark and challenging environments.

The ultra-wide camera captures with an expansive 115 degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture and with autofocus, can take striking macro photos, focusing as near as 4cm from the subject.

The only flip phone with a telephoto camera, Find N3 Flip captures subjects with an optical 2x reach for a portrait-perfect focal length. Combined with Hasselblad Portrait mode, Find N3 Flip’s 2x camera perfectly documents subjects with a flattering, natural look.

When users partly fold the phone, the camera will activate in FlexForm Mode. This is ideal for tripod-steady capture on a surface. Users can preview selfies on the cover screen, using the best camera available to guarantee quality results and rest the phone on a surface for steadied selfies, group shots, or even timelapses.

Available in three colours, Sleek Black, Cream Gold, and Misty Pink, there will be a Find N3 Flip to match the user's personal style. 

OPPO’s upgraded Flexion Hinge for Flip makes Find N3 Flip’s shallow screen crease and zero-gap hinge possible, and with an IPX4 water resistant rating, users would not need to worry about water splashes or even dust and debris getting in between the screen when it is folded.

Whether capturing content or watching a video, Find N3 Flip holds its position in FlexForm mode between 45 to 120 degrees, and with TÜV Rheinland Reliable Folding Certification, it can withstand up to 600,000 folds.

For multitaskers, having a screen split into multiple windows and floating applications while doing work is a subconscious decision. It reduces hand movements to search, hover and click multiple times to get a job done. 

Some even believe that it promotes higher productivity and efficiency because everything is already on the screen.
