KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 22): The cool air and short distance from Kuala Lumpur make Genting Highlands the perfect getaway from the humid and busy urban environment that KLites live in.

With the growing number of visitors and tourists, there aren't enough rooms or activities to cater to everyone, so property developers are coming in to deliver increased F&B, entertainment and accommodation options. Property experts believe that Genting Highlands has much to offer, but emphasised a need to exercise caution, especially when it comes to taking care of the environment and also the infrastructure that brings people to the highlands.

Besides this story, this issue of City & Country looks into the case of Sea Park Apartments, which has residents caught up in a bind with a landowner who owns their common areas, including car park bays.

There is also the 2Q2023 Kuala Lumpur Selangor Office Monitor where we look at the second quarter office performance.

Our columnist Brandon Chuah, from Australia, gives his views on the Australian property market in our My Space section.
