KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 29): Ecobuilt Holdings Bhd is partnering TJ Civil & Structural Contractor Sdn Bhd (TJCS) to jointly build a 24-storey police office building in Kuala Lumpur for a contract sum of RM148.04 million.

In a bourse filing, Ecobuilt said it is forming a joint venture company with TJCS for the project, for which TJCS has been appointed as the main contractor by PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd. 

Ecobuilt said its wholly owned Eko Bina Sdn Bhd, who will be forming the JV, shall be paid 49% of the monies that TJCS receives to undertake the construction work of the project from PNB Merdeka Ventures.

The project entails the building of six podium levels comprising office, car park, public facilities and a marching field on the podium's roof, and 18 storeys of office spaces with two guard houses and one garbage hut, on Lot 70, Jalan Tun HS Lee here.

The project, which Ecobuilt intends to finance via internal funds and/or bank borrowings, is expected to be completed by Feb 6, 2026 or 30 months from the date of site possession.

Ecobuilt's share price settled unchanged at 8.5 sen on Monday, bringing the group a market capitalisation of RM36 million.
