KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 11): Top Glove Corp Bhd has been dropped as a constituent for the MSCI Global Standard Indexes which will take place as of the close of Aug 31, 2023.
In the list released on Thursday (Aug 10), there were no Malaysian securities added to the list.
With the deletion of Top Glove, there are 32 Malaysian securities remaining on the list.
MSCI Inc announced the results of the August 2023 Index Review for the MSCI Equity Indexes — including the MSCI Global Standard, MSCI Global Small Cap and MSCI Micro Cap Indexes, the MSCI Frontier Markets, and MSCI Frontier Markets Small Cap Indexes, the MSCI Global Islamic and MSCI Global Islamic Small Cap Indexes, the MSCI US Equity Indexes, the MSCI US REIT Index, the MSCI China A Onshore indexes and the MSCI China All Shares Indexes.
