KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 25): Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd, popularly known as ERAMAN, is confident of achieving double-digit growth next year with the opening of the low-cost terminal, klia2.

Its Chairman, Jeremy Nasrulhaq, said ERAMAN has 53 retail and food and beverage outlets and five kiosks at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Labuan, Langkawi, Low Cost-Carrier Terminal (LCCT)-KLIA and soon in klia2 and Getaway@KLIA,"

"klia2 is where we would expand. Currently, we are based in LCCT which is quite small and when we move to klia2, we will have more brands to offer and we are expecting the revenue to expand accordingly," he told reporters at the launch of the Spend & Win Contest here today.

The premier airport retailer's recorded a turnover of RM539 million last year and expected a 12 per cent growth this year with revenue slightly above RM600 million, he said.

"We cannot be precise because it is not end of the year yet," he said. ERAMAN, a subsidiary of Malaysia Airports Holdings (MAHB), contributes 20-25 per cent towards MAHB revenue.

The company collaborates with CIMB Bank to organise the contest which is opened to CIMB Bank Visa and MasterCard credit and debit MasterCard members in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand starting Dec 1, 2013 to Feb 28, 2014.

The consumer needs to charge at least RM250 in cumulative purchase in a day to their cards at any ERAMAN outlets to participate in the contest.
