<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>During a press conference after officiating the soft launch of the International Electric Mobility Showcase 2023 on Monday (July 10), Tengku Zafrul said Anwar and Musk are to hold a “call” sometime before the end of the week.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“I think it is more than just the EV and automotive sector that we are talking about in this potential collaboration,” he said.&nbsp;</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>When asked for further clarity on what sectors specifically, Tengku Zafrul said: “Wait for the discussion, but what is important is that this (the call) is a positive development."&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Tengku Zafrul noted that Tesla plans to launch its official entry to the Malaysian market on July 20.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>It was reported last Friday that Anwar said he will meet with Musk to discuss the billionaire’s potential investment commitments in Malaysia.&nbsp;</p></div>
