<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Chan, 68, was appointed as non-executive chairman on Dec 17, 2020. He is a substantial shareholder of PA Resources, with a 0.044% direct stake and a 7.809% indirect stake through Interlink Matrix (M) Sdn Bhd and his family.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Chan is also an independent non-executive chairman of Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd. He was transport minister from 2003 to 2008.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>PA Resources shares closed unchanged at 14 sen on Friday (June 30), giving it a market capitalisation of RM285.84 million.</p></div>
