KUALA LUMPUR (May 31): Practice Note 17 company Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd said it is unable to release its financial results for the third quarter report ended March 31, 2023 (3QFY2023) by the May 31 deadline due to a "significant loss of manpower and loss of critical personnel".
"The board would like to stress that they are taking serious steps towards identifying suitable replacement candidates to rectify these issues," the group said, adding that it now expects to issue the 3QFY2023 report by June 7.
Serba Dinamik's share trade was temporarily suspended on Dec 23 last year due to its failure to submit its annual report for the financial year ended June 30, 2022 (FY2022) by the extended deadline of Dec 15.
The group finally submitted the annual report, together with its audited financial statements for FY2022, to Bursa Malaysia on Jan 12.
Three months ago, Serba Dinamik said it was unable to release the quarterly results for 2QFY2023 by the Feb 28 deadline, again citing "significant loss of manpower and loss of critical personnel" as the reason for the delay.
Trading in Serba Dinamik's shares was suspended again on Jan 18 after the High Court granted a winding-up order against the group.
It was classified as a PN17 company on Jan 6, after its external auditor expressed a disclaimer of opinion on its audited financial statements for the 18-month financial period ended June 30, 2021.
For 2QFY2023, Serba Dinamik posted a lower net loss of RM89.67 million, versus RM290.33 million in 2QFY2022, while revenue fell to RM105.8 million from RM177.14 million.
