KUALA LUMPUR (May 10): AHAM Asset Management Bhd (AHAM Capital) is partnering internet service provider Extreme Broadband Sdn Bhd (EBB) in its public cloud transformation project.

In a statement on Tuesday (May 9), EBB said the collaboration will see AHAM Capital utilise EBB’s connectivity solutions including IX-Connect and Virtual-router to be used in its cloud connectivity project.

It said that since rolling out the service, the IX-Connect has helped AHAM Capital to reduce its cloud connectivity latency by 50% providing greater responsiveness and faster access to end users.

AHAM Capital chief technology officer Allen Woo said as a future-focused asset manager, the company is constantly looking for ways to innovate and enhance  clients’ investing experience.

“As the world migrates to a cloud-based environment, factors like connectivity, security as well as ease of access will be critical,” he said.

Meanwhile, EBB founder and managing director Wong Weng Yew said corporations are taking steps to enhance user experience in their digital transformation.

“EBB solutions fit in well to support corporations in their digitalisation journey,” he said.
