KUALA LUMPUR (March 24): Konsortium Transnasional Bhd has secured a RM153.09 million contract to provide labour and materials for the construction of a Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) housing project in Pahang.
In a bourse filing, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Transnational Builder Sdn Bhd received the letter of award from Aman Wijaya Sdn Bhd for the project.
Konsortium Transnasional said relevant works for the housing project are expected to take place between July 2023 and June 2026. The project is located on government land, measuring about 100.7 acres.
The project comprises 340 units of single storey semi-detached houses, and eight single-storey bungalows.
The development also involves 652 units of single-storey terrance houses and 19 units of double-storey shop offices.
Konsortium Transnasional's shares slipped 0.5 sen or 2.63% to close at 18.5 sen, giving the bus operator a market capitalisation of RM87 million.
