From transforming Setapak in KL to promoting sustainable building, Malaysians continue to benefit from Datuk Gary Gan’s efforts to advance homeownership equity
THROUGHOUT history, nation-building has been extensively and continuously discussed. In both individual and national growth, it is a vital component.
With this in mind, Malaysia’s government recently released the Twelve Malaysia Plan 2021-2025; dedicated to creating a prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable nation.
As such, Datuk Gary Gan Kah Siong, Group Managing Director of Radium Development Berhad (better known as “Radium”), has been committed to home ownership equity in Malaysia since 2005.
Over the course of his 20-year career championing communities, he was pivotal in building affordable residential buildings, contemporary conveniences, trading hubs, and recreational facilities in Setapak of KL. As a result, he transformed Setapak into a more urban place that anyone would love to call home.
“Providing sustainable living with long-term value means ensuring that property and home ownership are accessible to all so that people can focus on what is most important: living life fully,” affirms Datuk Gary Gan.
Radium also designs and builds residential and commercial spaces that satisfy every segment of society, from affordable to pure luxury, regardless of borders, markets, or social standings.
Being committed to the Radium Rule of 8 has successfully positioned the Group as one of Kuala Lumpur’s most trusted property developers. Presently, the Group is developing projects worth RM1.24 billion in Kuala Lumpur, continuing its growth trajectory.
Radium launched the R Suites Chancery Residences (or “Chancery”) in early 2023. It has a gross development value of RM521 million. Project completion is anticipated by Q42025, well ahead the contractual date of Q42027 approved by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, demonstrating Radium’s commitment to completing and delivering the project well ahead of time. In addition to 145 hotel rooms and 944 residential suites, Chancery will have two floors dedicated to residents and 32 modern and lifestyle facilities covering 33,000 square feet.
A Provisional GreenRe Gold Certification has been awarded to Chancery by the Real Estate and Housing Developers Association (Rehda) Malaysia. Furthermore, Radium is planning to launch a second residential development in Salak South/Sungai Besi in 2Q2023.
