KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 16): Saudee Group Bhd has appointed former Selangor police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed as its independent and non-executive chairman.
The appointment is effective from Monday, the frozen food processor said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
Arjunaidi, 60, had served the police force for 35 years, before retiring as Selangor police chief on Dec 31 last year.
Saudee's share price closed flat at 4.5 sen on Monday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM46.19 million. The stock has declined 36% over the past year.
