Editor’s note — The Centurion spirit

With a double thumbs-up and a simple explanation — “It’s passion and hard work, with integrity” — Deleum Bhd (KL:DELEUM) group CEO Ramanrao Abdullah summed up his team’s achievement after the company bagged the coveted Centurion of the Year award at The Edge Malaysia Centurion Club Corporate Awards 2025.

DELEUM

To a number of oil and gas (O&G) companies, 2022 to 2024 was a period of revival. Industry activities improved significantly following years of delayed spending and project postponements during the prolonged downturn from 2015 to 2020.

This marks the first win for the company since the awards were introduced in 2019.

Operational focus pays off with sector-leading returns

Amway (Malaysia) Holdings Bhd (KL:AMWAY), one of the country’s longest-established direct selling companies with a 49-year operational track record, has been experiencing a post-pandemic normalisation of its previously accelerated growth phase. This moderation followed a period of heightened demand for health, wellness and personal care products driven by pandemic-era consumer behaviour.

Malaysia’s leading table egg producer, Teo Seng Capital Bhd (KL:TEOSENG), again clinched the Highest Growth in Profit After Tax Over Three Years award in the consumer products and services category at The Edge Malaysia Centurion Club Corporate Awards 2025. This marks its second consecutive win, underlining its sustained earnings momentum.

Hatching another win with record earnings

The maker of popular confectionery among Malaysian schoolchildren, Main Market-listed Apollo Food Holdings Bhd (KL:APOLLO) has proved that its offerings have been as rewarding for investors as well as snack lovers. Known for its track record of paying out generous dividends, the confectionery maker sweetened things up when its share price hit a high of RM6.87 on May 6 last year.

OSK Ventures International

Despite a slew of macroeconomic uncertainties in the last few years, private equity investor OSK Ventures International Bhd (KL:OSKVI) found opportunities to invest in new companies while continuing to perform commendably.
