The trust, support and goodwill — accumulated since 2010 — have helped make our simple desire to recognise, honour and celebrate the biggest and the best of Corporate Malaysia into a tradition, perhaps more. The Edge Media Group chairman Tan Sri Tong Kooi Ong thinks we can safely call the Billion Ringgit Club an institution. I agree.

Built for growth

Riding a commodity boom is one thing, but creating lasting value throughout the cycle is another. United Plantations Bhd (UP) (KL:UTDPLT) — one of Malaysia’s larger plantation groups — has consistently delivered this while outperforming its peers.

Creating value throughout the cycle

When investors think about the artificial intelligence (AI) and data centre (DC) boom, technology and property companies are often the first to come to mind.
