（吉隆坡20日讯）大众银行（Public Bank Bhd）首季净利年增1.6%至12亿5000万令吉，归因于净利息和回教银行收入增加，以及税收减低。

大众银行在今日的一则文告中指出，截至2017年3月31日止的财政年首季净赚12亿5000万令吉，同期净利报12亿3000万令吉；营业额则从上财年同期的50亿1000万令吉，扩增至50亿3000万令吉。

（吉隆坡20日讯）产业发展商警告，随着政府最近对某些进口钢材征收3年的保护税，屋价可能会上涨。

大马房地产发展商会（REHDA）主席Datuk Seri FD Iskandar Mohamed Mansor指出，如果保护税导致钢材价格上涨，他们别无选择，只能将额外的成本转嫁予购屋者。
