KUALA LUMPUR – The stage is set for the 21st edition of Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) 2025, Southeast Asia’s premier energy trade platform, returning with a sold-out exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 2 - 4 September 2025. With over 2,000 local and international brands across seven halls spanning 20,000 sqm, embodying its powerful theme: “Powering Progress, Shaping Tomorrow”.

Organised by Informa Markets Malaysia, OGA 2025 will once again unite thousands of global energy professionals to accelerate business growth, forge strategic partnerships, and deliver forward-looking insights into technologies and trends shaping the region’s energy future.

This year’s edition comes at a pivotal moment. Under Malaysia’s chairmanship, ASEAN is intensifying its energy agenda from the ASEAN Power Grid and renewable energy adoption to a five-year regional cooperation plan. With the bloc expected to drive 25% of global energy demand growth, the stakes are high. Offshore gas markets are also surging towards a US$100 billion valuation, led by fresh investments in Malaysia and Indonesia.

PETRONAS as Corporate Partner

PETRONAS is proud to be the Sole Corporate Partner of Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) 2025, reaffirming its commitment to strengthen Malaysia’s energy ecosystem. Building on long-standing partnerships within the OGSE industry, PETRONAS as an integrated energy company continues advancing strategic investments across key areas of the energy value chain - reinforcing energy security and accelerating Malaysia’s transition towards a sustainable energy future.

Visitors and delegates are welcome to explore the PETRONAS exhibition booth to connect with industry peers, exchange ideas, and co-create innovative and sustainable solutions that deliver lasting value.

A Global Platform with Regional Relevance

From eight international pavilions to SPEAK OGA knowledge sessions, OGA 2025 offers a dynamic agenda. Delegates can expect strategic partner programmes, the launch of OGA Event Ambassadors, and the debut of youth-focused initiatives in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), including a student paper competition.

Key exhibitors include EPIC Bhd, Steel Hawk Bhd, Honeywell International, KUFPEC, Ingersoll Rand, Airscope Industries, Deep Manufacturing, Zecchin, Ebara Elliot Energy, Sedia Teguh, Hidrokinetik Group, Tuah Energy, Helms Geomarine, Rembe, and SJP Sealing Technology.

Event Ambassadors Speak

To strengthen engagement, OGA has introduced its Event Ambassadors initiative, partnering with leading industry associations and organisations. These voices underscore OGA’s role as a unifying force for Malaysia’s oil, gas and energy services sector:

  • Malaysian Oil, Gas and Energy Services Council (MOGSC)

“As the largest industry association representing Malaysia’s Oil, Gas and Energy sector, MOGSC is proud to champion local capabilities while driving ESG adoption and energy transition,” said a spokesperson. “OGA remains a trusted platform where our 600 members can connect with stakeholders, government agencies, and global partners.”

  • Malaysian Oil & Gas Engineering Council (MOGEC)

“Engineering services providers play a vital role in shaping Malaysia’s energy industry,” noted MOGEC. “Through OGA, we ensure our members’ expertise and contributions are recognised - locally, regionally, and globally.”

  • Autoridade Nacional do Petróleo (ANP), Timor-Leste

“As Timor-Leste strengthens its petroleum management capabilities, OGA is a timely opportunity to share experiences, attract collaboration, and showcase the progress of our oil and gas sector,” said ANP.

  • EDMS Consultants Sdn Bhd

“Digital transformation is no longer optional; it is essential,” emphasised EDMS. “OGA gives us a platform to showcase how automation, AI, and intelligent information management can modernise processes and accelerate productivity across the industry.”

  • Beckhoff Automation

“At Beckhoff, our New Automation Technology delivers universal and industry-independent control and automation solutions, from industrial PCs and drive technology to machine vision hardware,” the company stated. “OGA provides an ideal stage to demonstrate how our integrated systems can empower sectors ranging from factory automation to process optimisation - driving efficiency, flexibility, and innovation.”

Knowledge, Innovation, and Inclusion

Returning stronger this year, SPEAK OGA provides free access to cutting-edge knowledge sessions on digitalisation, Industry 4.0, operational efficiency, and talent development. Importantly, 2025 will spotlight diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) through initiatives by Malaysian Women in Energy (MyWiE), TalentCorp, and Girls4Girls (G4G), promoting mentorship and leadership pathways for women and young professionals.

“By placing DEI and youth empowerment at the heart of OGA, we’re ensuring that the next generation is not just represented but actively shaping the energy transition,” said an OGA spokesperson.

Why OGA 2025 Matters

For Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, Chairman of Informa Markets Malaysia, the response speaks for itself.

“Our fundamental goal is to partner with the entire energy industry to facilitate continued business growth and impact. The overwhelming response this year is a clear signal that the industry is eager to participate in transformation and highlights the choice of OGA as an enabler of that change,” he said.

OGA’s role has grown beyond a trade show. It is a catalyst for collaboration, connecting policymakers, industry leaders, SMEs, innovators, and future talent across the energy value chain.

A Flagship in the Energy Series

OGA is the flagship event under the Informa Markets Energy Series, which also includes ENERtec Asia in Kuala Lumpur, International Energy Week (IEW) in Sarawak, and East Coast Energy (ECE) in Terengganu. Together, these platforms underline Informa Markets’ commitment to building resilient and future-ready energy ecosystems across Malaysia and beyond.

OGA, Where Energy Professionals Connect

As the region navigates a critical juncture in its energy journey, OGA 2025 is more than an exhibition – it is a community of action, innovation, and progress. From PETRONAS’ leadership as Sole Corporate Partner to the voices of ambassadors like MOGSC, MOGEC, ANP, EDMS, and Beckhoff, the message is clear: the future of energy will be shaped here, together.
