SINGAPORE (April 21): Gold exploration and mining firm Wilton Resources Corporation has entered into a placement agreement with a private investor to subscribe to 55.56 new shares at an issue price of 5.4 cents.

The placement price is a 10% discount to the volume-weighted average price of six cents per share.

The Catalist-listed company expects to raise $3 million in gross proceeds. Net proceeds of the placement will be used to fund the development of the Ciemas Gold Project.

The stock last traded at six cents on April 7.
